Personal Project: Dreamville Rampage
Inspiration and Motivation was clearly the creative collective Dreamville itself being able to go easy but also rampage like maniacs (related to music).
Also Maxon's new C4D updates really tempted me to try some of the new cloth system.
Goal was to create and contribute a timeless homage to Dreamville that hopefully leads to future collaborations with them and or with their artists.
This is the final result. (Animation / Simulation with Maxon's C4D, Rendered with Otoy's Octane, Post Processing and Effects with Adobe's After Effects)
The Process as usual also with this project came with a whole lot of trying out, especially in terms of timing the simulation with all the animation around and getting the desired overall look.
One scene didnt make the cut because I thought it'll take some of the dynamics and flow of the video away, so it landed in the graveyard of renders. May it rest it in peace.
